Scheduling & Team Status
Good morning everyone, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The boys rec league and co-ed Tee ball team schedules have been uploaded to the website, and we've finalized the coaches & rosters for the 14u, 12u, and 10u teams. We are now finalizing the coaches for the 8u, 7u (Coach Pitch) and TeeBall Teams. Once these finished, the coaches will update their rosters on the GYSBA website and contact you to let you know what team your child is on and what your team number is for scheduling. (Note: some of the rosters on the website as of this moment may be from last year. We need to clear those out to avoid confusion. Our apologies if it's caused concern.)
We will also start the scheduling of practices beyond March 31st. Field space will be very tight this year, even more than last year. We will utilize every field possible to ensure as much practice time as possible.
Our apologies for the delay in responding to emails, we have been extremely busy prepping for the season and we didn't have answers for a lot of questions at that time. We should have everything finalized after this weekend.
Thank you all for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you on the fields soon!
Jeff

Syncing team schedules with your phone or iPad
We have turned on iCal support for the team schedules. This will allow you to subscribe to your team(s) schedules on your phone, iPad, Google calendar, Yahoo calendar or Outlook at work.
On your team's page you will see a link for iCal right on top of the team schedule. Right click on that to select or copy the URL link. On your iPad or iPhone hold your finger on it until the menu pops up to copy the link. You can now paste that link into your device's calendar subscription options.
Every device and calendar is different, so I can not provide examples on everything. I suggest searching on your device in google to get the exact instructions. For example, if you are looking for help on the iPad, google "ipad ical subscribe" and it will walk your through.
I have validated this on my iPad, iPod Touch and Yahoo Calendar.
You can subscribe to an unlimited number of teams, so in one place you can see everything your family has to do!
